Using our very own video conference software, the meeting is almost as if we were to share the same room.
The total time frame is typically one hour, during which the actual Focusing Session takes about 30 to 45 min. This leaves 15 to 30 minutes for us to clarify the content of your sessions, and for us to address any questions, curiosities, or insights you may want to share.

How the online session works:

The meeting takes place seated, facing the camera and microphone, and proceeds in the same way as if you were sharing the same room. You’ll need a Mac or PC, or a cell phone.
If you’re using a laptop, open the link I email you shortly before the meeting begins, and just follow the directions. Our software works on every device and there is no need to install any apps!

You’ll also need an Internet connection strong enough for a video call, but usually Wi-Fi is good enough. It’s best to have a headset handy, as the built-in microphone may not be strong enough for a relaxed, quiet conversation.
Also be sure to create a comfortable, undisturbed environment for yourself so as not to be disturbed in your inner listening. Optimally plan some time for yourself after the session, as you may encounter vulnerabilities that want your undivided attention after the session.

The format, which I choose to offer individual sessions online, is similar to the format of the group class called Awareness Through Movement. But as it is offered by me online, it is for you alone and the class chosen/created is in accordance with your wants and needs.

  • Suggestions for your individual practice and further resources
  • An audio recording that you can use as often as you like
  • A set of three sessions in that format within a few months is highly recommended.


Here’s how it works:

You contact me to schedule a session. We schedule a 15-minute session, plus a 1-hour session. Those take place about a week apart.

You make your payment.

In our first 15-minute conversation, you let me know what you want from this session.
You may ask for support in improving a skill, which involves movement coordination, or to release aches and pains that may have been caused by accidents, repetitive motion injuries, compromised posture, or emotional holding of muscles.
Or perhaps you want to explore the accuracy of your physical self-image in order to thereby improve your orientation in space, or your psychological self-image, which may be trapping you in beliefs such as “I’m not good enough,”I’m clumsy, “I lack passions and interests”I’m not a good student,” and so on.
I will also ask you to do some common everyday movements for the camera, so I can see how you are used to balance and coordination.
For the actual lesson, about a week later, you will need a floor space with a mat, or in some situations just a chair. You need to be able to point the camera used for the video call at yourself in such a way that I can see your whole body in motion. You must also be able to turn the volume up high enough that you can still hear me verbal instructions while lying on the floor.
The class I will lead you through is chosen for you, based on your needs, and based on the movement patterns I have observed.
The Consciousness through Movement class lasts about 45 minutes, leaving a few minutes for any questions and recommendations I may have for your practice of self-inquiry. I will also provide you with more resources to support your learning.
With your approval, I will record the one-hour session and make it available for you to repeat the same lesson as many times as you wish.

I highly recommend that you schedule three sessions within a two-month time frame. This format was created to allow you to create your own learning program. This cannot be accomplished in one session.
